Position Summary
The Electrician performs a variety of electrical systems and maintenance duties, while ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. This position requires knowledge of and hands-on-experience with the following technologies : instrumentation, electronics, hydraulics, power transmission, mechanics, welding, and pneumatics.

The Electrician performs a variety of electrical systems and maintenance duties, while ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. This position requires knowledge of and hands-on-experience with the following technologies : instrumentation, electronics, hydraulics, power transmission, mechanics, welding, and pneumatics.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in compliance with all approved safety regulations, plant codes, policies and procedures / programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair as required 3 phase Electrical Circuits / MCC Cabinets / Controls
- Troubleshoot and repair as required VFD panels, PLC, HMI equipment
- Undertake Electrical Preventive Maintenance of facility distribution sources
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance of computers / optimizers and associated controls
- Work in safe manner using proper PPE

Work Environment Manufacturing Plant Physical Demands
This job requires the ability to sit, stand, lift and / or move. Must be able to tolerate extreme hot, humid, cold, and outdoor conditions. Comfortable working in loud environment, around moving machinery, with vibrations and airborne particles (sawdust).
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Ability to work day, evening and night shifts, weekends and scheduled long (holiday) weekends.
