Big Rivers Marketing is a premier Manufacturers Representative Agency in the Midwest representing some of the best manufacturers in the plumbing and industrial channels. We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales candidate in our St Louis office that will be responsible for certain manufacturers we represent.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for helping customers with pricing & purchase orders, answering questions about products and processes while exhibiting excellent phone & email skills and adapting to a quickly changing task list. Working closely with our Territory Managers & Business Development Team the Inside Sales Representative helps to execute our sales plan.
Along with competitive salary and benefits, this position qualifies for our Inside Sales Bonus plan.
Tasks
- Answer pricing questions from our wholesale partners
- Answer basic product questions from our wholesalers, contractors, & engineers
- Input customer orders into our manufacturers order system
- Help facilitate order entry and RGA processes for wholesale customers
- Help customers handle problems relating to delivery expediting, order tracking, damaged goods, repair services, warranty
- Maintain good working relationships with assigned manufacturers’ personnel including order entry, customer service, warranty, field service, and sales management
- Must be able to operate in web-based systems of our manufacturer principals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service is preferred
- Candidate will have valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Higher Education (college level), including a degree, is a plus but not required
- Must demonstrate proficient use of Windows Operating System, Outlook, Excel, & Word
- Must demonstrate superior Typing and Keyboarding skills
- Must be able to work using remote teleconferencing platforms with customers and principals
- Strong organizational skills a must
- Effective at communicating both verbally and in writing using standard business protocols
- Able to work on a team with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
