Currently, we are located in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, but this support staff position will be moving soon to Downtown Ashland, Kentucky.

As a Service Accounting Associate you will be responsible for carrying out all duties required to ensure continued support to our service department on all accounting matters. The expectations are as follows:
- Assist service department with accounting problems via email and phone call.
- Bill manufacturers and third party warranty companies for service provided.
- Input invoices and credits ordered for service parts.
- Apply check payments to work orders.
- Serve as administrator for third party Warranty Company for each manufacturer.
- Review and adjust aging receivables report as needed.
- Performs filing and scanning duties.
- Pull work order reports to track and ensure timely billing and payment.
- Serve as backup to service accounting roles as needed.
Preferred skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office products with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop and reach regularly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of experience.
Full-time - Monday through Friday - 40 hours per week (flexible time frame)
Reports to Chief Financial Officer
Salary : $14 - $15
