High Voltage Switchgear and Substation experience required.
Field Service Manager will provide project management, customers installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support in the field up to 60% of the time. Must sure that all procedures are followed in accordance with factory specification. Assisting utility companies or performing sole work. Primary benefits to include increasing customer relations by working directly with utilities, while also providing revenue for billing customers for work performed. This role is a blend of high voltage electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, project management and a blend business savvy.
EE,ME, Mechatronics Engineer. Trade school and or AA degrees considered.
Training of specific technical skills will insure success.
40% of the time candidate will manage incoming parts orders to ensure quality and deliver expectations are met
Manage incoming questions and request for support from our customers to ensure answers / actions meet the needs of our customers.
Maintain knowledge of product and field Improves workflow by monitoring steps of the process; reducing processing methods
Implement cost reductions as well as developing reporting procedures and systems
Completes work plan for each assigned task in timely & quality-oriented manner
Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by demonstrating an understanding of all control points, equipment, and resources, exceeding compliance with policies and procedures
Resolves Customer problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
Participate in professional memberships and events
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Prefer BS, Business management, engineering, other combinations of education and experience will be considered
- 5 years’ progressive experience in an Engineer to Order environment.
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL.
- ERP system experience, preferably SAP
- Subject matter expert regarding products and service offerings
- Able to effectively communicate up and down the organizational hierarchy.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
