Hospice Chaplain

Overview
The Chaplain plays a vital role in providing spiritual support and guidance to individuals in various settings, including assisted livings, skilled nursing facilities and in the home. This position requires a compassionate individual who is present and engaged with those they serve, offering support during times of need. The Chaplain will be responsible for fostering a supportive environment through leadership, mentoring, and crisis management.

Duties

• Provide spiritual care and counseling to individuals and families in need.
• Offer bereavement support to those experiencing loss, helping them navigate their grief.
• Educate individuals on spiritual matters and provide resources for personal growth.
• Plan and facilitate events that promote community engagement and spiritual enrichment.
• Communicate effectively with diverse groups to ensure understanding and support.
• Mentor individuals seeking spiritual guidance or leadership roles within the community.
• Manage crises by providing immediate support and intervention when necessary.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
