Missoula/Potomac Nanny

Overview
We have a family who seeking a part-time nanny to work 3 days a week between 18 to 20 hours. The primary duties will include picking up the child from preschool in Missoula and driving them safely to their home in Potomac. Hours will be from 1 pm to 7 pm, Monday, Wednesday & Fridays, with the possibility to pick up further hours. The family is looking for someone who would be able to transition to a full-time role during the summer when school is out.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for preschool aged child ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage in fun and entertaining activities, age appropriate
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks to the family's specifications
• Providing a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up play areas and living areas
• Provide first aid as needed and maintain a safe environment by recognizing potential hazards.

Qualifications

• A Valid Driver's License with a impeccable driving record and reliable transportation.
• Proven experience in childcare or nannying with references.
• Strong skills in infant care, demonstrating patience and understanding of developmental milestones.
• Ability to cook healthy meals suitable for children, with knowledge of meal preparation techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both child and parents.
• A nurturing personality with a passion for engaging children through play.
