The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of food items within scheduled time frames. This includes maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to inventory control procedures, and ensuring that residents' diets are followed.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and serving according to established schedules and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the Director of Dining Services.
- Monitor and report any unusual or potentially hazardous resident behavior.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services and other team members to ensure seamless food service operations.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid ServSafe certification and maintain current licensure at all times.
- Meet physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for extended periods.
