Responsibilities:
· Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
· Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, place and join studs using steel materials
· Install metal framing
· Notify the supervisor of any equipment deficiencies.
· Follow all safety procedures
· Keep work area clean
· Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Motivated and self-disciplined
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in the commercial construction industry preferred.
