Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, focusing on preventive health measures and managing chronic conditions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding lifestyle changes and disease prevention.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary, including cardiac catheterization.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Manage patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Provide family planning services and support for patients seeking reproductive health guidance.
- Offer specialized care in pediatrics, hospice palliative medicine, and other areas as needed.
- Maintain a safe and efficient medical office or clinic environment.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
- Minimum two (2) years working in hospital experience.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state licensure.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pediatrics or family medicine.
- Familiarity with health coaching techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
