Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant – 13 Week Contract

Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. Overview:
- Setting: LTC/SNF, OP, and IP
- Total Pay Package: Starting at$1,400 per week
- Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm– No weekends, holidays or call
- Start Date: ASAP
- Length: 13 weeks
Current Contracts Available:
- Farmington
- Granite Falls
Responsibilities:
- Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
- Read instructions from Physical Therapist
- Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
- Speak with families to find best at-home techniques
- Keep physical therapy clean and organized
- Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area
- Teach patients techniques like balance training
Qualifications:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Physical Therapist Assistance License (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
