Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our small, unique, rural health center team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, focusing on preventative health measures, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions. You will work independently under the supervision of our medical director and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
• Manage chronic illnesses and provide education on disease prevention and health promotion.
• Administer treatments.
• Provide case management services to coordinate care across multiple providers.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or PA in Primary Care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Sensitivity to cultural diversity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.42 - $79.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
