PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Appropriate usage of all required PPE.
- Monitor inventory and conduct daily cycle counts. (repetitive counting, accurately and efficiently)
- Perform follow-up counts to ensure accuracy.
- Verify product locations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory analysis and quality issues.
- Conduct location audits.
- Working semi-unsupervised.
- Problem solving.
- Learn to identify several different parts.
- Use of an inventory locator.
- Identification of different types of steel: (sq tube, pipe, angle iron, rect. tube, etc.)
- Identifying different stages in production process: (warehouse, WIP, finish, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to identify and quantify various parts and supplies.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Continuously exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
- Continuously exposed to a manufacturing/industrial environment.
