ROLE: Director of Service, Big Tex Trailer World
REPORTS TO: Sr. Vice President of Stores, Trailer World
LOCATION: Addison, Texas
Purpose:
Drive sustainable revenue and profit growth for Trailer World through fulfilling the needs of our customers in trailer repair and truck and trailer upfitting, positioning and driving the organization to win in the marketplace through unmatched customer service and support, driving growth in existing services and expanding our high margin services and parts line.
Role Functions:
- Grow revenues and profits for service lines and associated parts sales
- In alignment with business unit growth strategies, develop and execute plans to optimize existing services business across all TW locations
- Develop and implement processes to drive continuous improvement and consistency in outcomes in safety, operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Assure market leading quality and customer service for TW service business
- Create new and evolve current systems to support business objectives
- Drive expansion in service line for trailer repair and truck and trailer upfitting category for newly acquired TruckfitterTM Brand
- Identify and develop commercial strategies to increase service business and brand presence and grow market share in light truck and trailer upfitting
Responsibilities
- Grow topline revenue through improved processes and execution of customer conversion driving increased sales and customer satisfaction
- Deploy and support processes and programs to continually improve our service department in safety, efficiency, and capabilities.
- Drive profitable growth of the line of business through optimization of current and development of new processes
- Manage profitability of the line through development and management of appropriate operational and financial measures and implementing corrective actions and accelerations where appropriate
- Create sales forecasts and supply to purchasing group to assure appropriate product inventory at each location
- Create training and development programs to drive quality outcomes, improve efficiencies and continue to grow our resources
- Develop systems of metrics and measures to create visibility to leading and lagging indicators to understand and improve outcomes
- Understand customer needs, market dynamics and competitive influences to best position Trailer World services in each market

Professional Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in management of multi-location fixed services/installation business
- Successfully managed financial profit and loss for service business in trailer/truck upfitting or related industry experience
- Has developed and managed growth plans, capital and financial budgets to support business case
- Experience in creating and implementing go-to-market strategies in similar market
- Developed and implemented new programs and service expansions with a track record of success
- Proven ability to identify market opportunities and capitalize upon them
