What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Handler 1 - Flagger position at Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing Llc?
Responsible for the coordination of warehousing and receiving of materials. Oversees transport of materials to and from location and ensures material needs are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Appropriate usage of all required PPE.
- Ensure that trailers are adequately account for on the yard.
- Take physical inventory of finished product
- inspected trailers throughout mfg. based on designated ticket load and locate in storage areas using golfcart
- Flag identified trailer based off serial and numerical orders and prepare trailers for outgoing shipping.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds.
- Continuously exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
- Continuously exposed to a manufacturing/industrial environment.
