This position reports to the directly to the Lead Cashier, Store Manager, or MOD (Manager On Duty).
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Skill in counting money and processing customer transactions accurately.
- Operating Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greeting and assisting customers.
- Able to follow verbal and written work direction, particularly where instructions are specific.
- Able to communicate respectfully with coworkers and customers.
- Clean and maintaining organization at the checkout station.
- Assist with answering phones and responding to radio and overhead pages as needed.
- Completing end of day cash report thoroughly and accurately.
- Following through on daily checklists.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Activities:
- Ability to work on feet (for long periods of time) in a hot and humid environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderately heavy objects, up to 50lbs.
Work Environment:
- Hot, dry, wet, and cold.
- Potential for exposure to slippery surfaces and allergy irritants.
