We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by communicating special requests or modifications to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours, particularly during banquets or large events.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system as required for order tracking and communication.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and responding promptly to inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and practices is a plus.
