What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Nursery Associate and Retail Associate position at Big Value Garden Center?
We are currently hiring immediately for mulitple positions in our Nursery & Retail Garden Center. Seeking qualified, hard working individuals who enjoy working outdoors.
Duties include:
Attend to customer needs and questions
Conduct cash register transactions
Knowledge of plant material, fertilizers & chemicals
Operate heavy equipment
Weed, deadhead, and prune plant stock
Assist in unloading deliveries of plant material.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs plus
Repot and propagate plant stock
Assist with maintenance of property gardens
General cleaning and organizing of nursery/retail space.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
