The Big Walnut Local School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Office Assistant position at General Rosecrans Elementary School beginning the 2024.2025 school year.
Description: This part-time position will begin with the 2024/2025 school year and is 4 hours/day, 5 days/week and 190 days/year - hours and schedule to be determined based on building needs. This position may require some additional training.
Qualifications: Must have current BCI/FBI background checks, and obtain State of Ohio Educational Aide permit upon hire.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the building secretary and substitute if the secretary is absent
- Perform receptionist duties, including greeting and assisting all building visitors, parents, and students
- Assist parents and students with needs
- First aid and medication distribution
- Office clerical duties - attendance, copying, distributing materials
- Maintain respect at all times for confidential information
- Attend meetings and inservices as needed
- Perform all duties as assigned
