Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Strengthen and encourage meaningfully interactions in children’s development through education and counseling; problem solve social and emotional issues and provide support and assistance to students, parents and staff to enable children to reach their full educational potential. Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in social work and hold a current social work license with the Minnesota Board of Social Work; required to hold a Tier 3 or 4 School Social Worker license with Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. Assignments
Social Workers work by district assignment and may be moved between buildings and/or programs based on student needs, location of certain programs, student count(s), and applicable licensure. This position is scheduled to work at Big Woods Elementary School for the coming school year.
Start date: August 25, 2025
FTE: 1.0
Contract: 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for new-to-district teachers, August 19 and 20, 2025)
Salary Range: $46,417-$98,146. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract 2023-2025. Salary range listed ($46,417-$98,146) is based on the collective bargaining agreement for the current school year, and may increase with the negotiation of the 2025-2027 collective bargaining agreement.
