The Assistant Night Crew Chief plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by presenting and maintaining the freshest quality products. To achieve this, they assist the Night Crew Chief with overnight supervision of grocery areas, encompassing sales and operational results through ordering, inventory management, stocking, leveling, decision-making, employee engagement, employee development, and fostering an inclusive team atmosphere within the department, store, and company.
Key responsibilities include compliance with laws, company policies, and procedures, including labor and safety regulations, asset protection, and food safety. This requires utilizing leadership skills to promote Big Y's culture of caring while living its vision and mission.
