Qualifications and Skills:
- BBA in accounting
- CPA is a plus
- Minimum 5 years private or 3 years public accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel; prior experience with ERP systems; Workday and Adaptive knowledge is a plus.
- Team player, dependable, effective verbal and written communication, ability to multitask and prioritize, knowledge of GAAP.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process A/R and A/P invoices and prepare month-end revenue and expense accruals.
- Manage a month-end financial close process for responsible areas, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Review and analyze financial results on a project level to ensure the accuracy and completeness of balances and amounts for reporting purposes. Work with operations to obtain explanations for significant fluctuations in actual vs. prior period and budget and forecast.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
- Monitor bank accounts and project weekly cash flows.
- Participate in the budgeting and re-forecasting process.
- Assist with internal and external financial, internal controls, and operational audits.
- Complete special projects and ad hoc reports as required.
