What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at BIGBELLY SOLAR, LLC?
The Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Finance, will oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's books and records. This includes maintenance and oversight of the NetSuite general ledger in order to produce accurate financial statements in compliance with all federal, state, local and professional requirements.Responsibilities : Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions including management of supporting team members (2).Lead month-end closing duties related to Cash, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable by maintaining complete and accurate records and files.Facilitate the Account Reconciliation process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and review of all balance sheet-related accounts. Partner with and provide support to other team personnel.Oversee all invoice matters, resolve customer issues, and support AR specialist when required.Maintain and enhance weekly AR Reporting, provide dashboards, and ensure a proactive approach to the collections process.Working closely with AP Specialist to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, partner with supply chain to ensure accurate and timely resolution to invoice / receipt discrepancies.Monthly reporting and reconciliation of VAT and Sales Tax, working closely with 3rd party consultants (Avalara and International) to ensure accurate tax filings and timely recovery of taxes paid / owed.Assist with monthly analysis of results versus plan and provide inputs to forecasts.Assist VP of Finance & Treasurer with management of working capital.Review policies and processes and provide recommendations for improvement.Assist with External Audits as needed.Assists with related special projects as required.Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience including management of supporting rolesMicrosoft Office, Proficient with Microsoft ExcelPrior ERP experience a must, preferred exposure to NetSuite ApplicationAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to collaborate across multiple levels of the organizationExperience with Sales and VAT tax is desirableStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsB.B.A or B.S in Accounting requiredIf you are a motivated and experienced Accounting Manager looking to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.PIe3d9ec34349a-29400-36537730
