The role will work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to lead, develop, and implement Bigelow's social media strategy, ensuring that the content and approach align with and reinforce the brand's overall messaging. A deep knowledge and passion for all social platforms are essential. The individual will also play a key role in Bigelow's broader digital ecosystem, including the website, email campaigns, and blogs, while fostering a collaborative team environment.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in teamwork, values collaboration, and is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor. The individual will manage a Social Media Marketing Assistant to ensure the execution and timely responses are carried out effectively.
STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT
- Creates, Leads, and Executes social media objectives for each platform against key brand initiatives
- Strengthens Bigelow's Social Media presence by increasing brand awareness using relevant and meaningful content for each platform
- Brings tactics to life under the goals and initiatives and ensures we are executing against the role of each platform; continuously evaluates each role and proposes recommendations as needed
- Ensures tone, visuals, and copy are aligned with overall Bigelow brand persona
- Research, create, and lead new channel strategy and presence where needed
CONTENT
Manages content strategy creation : this includes sourcing visuals, identifying creative needs, works closely with the brand team and design associate as needed, helping create photos on the fly, copywriting across all platforms, and providing final approval for social line-up.Leads monthly meetings ensuring lessons learned and areas of opportunity are highlighted and then actioned against for the futureContinuously evaluates what is working and what is not, can easily pivotAware of topical / real-time trends and activates accordinglyWorks closely to align and activate against key company initiativesCreates and executes a robust full-year organic campaign plan to align with overall content pillars and key product initiatives -Paid and OrganicProvides input and direction on paid social adsEXECUTION

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, or PRExperience with social monitoring / listening / engagement tools necessary (Sprout Social, Hoot Suite, META Business Suite, Google Analytics)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and social and mobile platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)Organic and Paid social media experience strongly preferredSKILLS REQUIRED
