Join Our Team as a Small Format Sales Manager

As the Small Format Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our success in convenience & gas (C&G) accounts. Your focus? Growing sales, maximizing efficiency, and making sure every store you work with is set up for success. You’ll build strong relationships with customers, stay ahead of trends, and find smart ways to expand product distribution. From analyzing accounts to developing eye-catching product displays and promotions, you’ll have a direct impact on revenue growth. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with your manager, sales reps, and customers to bring big ideas to life and make every shelf count.

 

Our Small Format Sales Manager will:

  1. Execution of strategic plans to enhance business, profitability, productivity and efficiency within small format accounts.

  2. Develop and maintain customer relationships through regular account visits, business updates, prompt attention to customer service opportunities, managing resets and display builds.  Provide support for situations involving problem resolution.

  3. Achieve sales plan by period and annually.

  4. Direct contact with small format chain accounts within the designated location.

  5. Oversee and coordinate accurate item placement within designated accounts.  Follow up on major issues or concerns and communicate with co-managers if resources are required.

  6. Partner with the Space Planning Manager to identify opportunities where space planning software can be utilized to maximize retail space, sales, and profit.

  7. Communicate and coordinate with the Co-Director of Sales & Operations on customer needs, account information and Sales Representatives’ performance.

  8. Analyze sales reports to assist in space evaluation, store resets and program initiatives.  Effectively communicate information to the Co-Director of Sales & Operations.

  9. Ensure that POS materials are properly distributed and place orders from the Print Shop when necessary.

  10. Train, motivate and communicate with Delivery Drivers, and Merchandisers as part of a team to ensure customer needs are met at all times.

  11. Act as a resource and support to the Sales Representative in regard to new products, out of stocks, POS placement and analysis of sales reports.

  12. Allocate time to route ride with Sales Representatives, focusing on overall execution, display set-up and maintenance, and general account activity.

What We're Looking for in a Sales Leader


What we need from you:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, sales and marketing, accounting or related field; or high school diploma or GED with equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in sales, merchandising, route delivery, or marketing.

 

It'd be great if you had:

  1. Beverage industry experience.

 

 

When & Where do I work?
This is a full-time position.  The schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend and evening work as necessary. 40 plus hours weekly with additional hours based on daily need. This is an exempt level position.
