The Production Planner will play a key role in coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring timely production of kits and finished goods, and mitigating material shortages. This position will act as the critical link between outside sales and operations, balancing customer demand with production capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, ERP systems, and lean manufacturing principles .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules for kits and finished goods.
- Interface with sales and operations teams to determine accurate lead times for products.
- Identify and mitigate material shortages, working closely with procurement and suppliers.
- Utilize Epicor Kinetic ERP (or similar systems) to track production status and optimize scheduling.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align production with capacity and customer requirements.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze production data to improve scheduling accuracy and minimize delays.
