BigFoot Staffing is excited to offer this exciting Temp-To-Hire opportunity with a great local company!

Job Summary :

Trim and tool rubber rollers according to customer specifications while operating a manual lathe under the direction of the Finishing Supervisor.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Read and understand order instructions and blueprints.
  • Trim, tool, and / or grind customer goods per design specifications.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets design specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing required protective equipment.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support business operations.

Marginal Functions :

  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area daily.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned based on business needs.

    • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, pi tape, and calipers.
  • Ability to operate a manual lathe following proper instruction.
  • Capable of making minor machine adjustments independently.
  • Safely and efficiently use overhead lifts.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Standing, stooping, bending, and reaching regularly.
  • Frequent handling of objects up to 40 lbs, with overhead cranes and other assistance devices for materials over 40 lbs.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs to waist level.
  • Comfortable working in noisy and dirty conditions.
  • Capable of cutting rubber materials using scissors or a knife.

    • Pay Rate and Benefits :

    21-$25 per hour
