Overview
We are seeking passionate and energetic Barista's to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain food safety standards will contribute to an outstanding experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of farm direct coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about the menu.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting in restocking as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings is essential.
• Be friendly, courteous and work well in a team environment without direct supervision
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for every customer
• Must be 16 years of age and able to work 20-35 hours per week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week, flexible scheduling.
