Biggby Coffee is recruiting for baristas for Cassopolis, MI. We are well known for delicious coffee, fresh pastries, wonderful breakfast and lunch items, outstanding customer service and a great working environment.

Baristas are responsible for:

• Quickly making and serving drinks to customers with care and great attention to detail
• Recommending complementary items from the menu
• Taking orders and handling cash/card payments
• Making breakfast and lunch sandwiches
• Addressing customer complaints and resolving them quickly and courteously.
• Using teamwork with fellow baristas to deliver speedy and quality service
• Ensure our establishment is clean and disinfected by adhering to our high-standard of cleanliness program (includes: washing dishes when needed, sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, regular sanitizing of high-touch surfaces, etc.)
• Be an all-around pleasant and helpful person to customers and fellow team members

Requirements:

• Engaging and friendly personality with superior customer service skills
• Team-oriented attitude
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to stay on feet for 6-8 hours and lift 50lbs
• Ability to multitask/thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for quality food and beverages
• Training and working in White Pigeon, MI until Middlebury opens its doors
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills
• We do not require prior food service experience; we will train you if you are excited and willing to learn!
