We are seeking a skilled Shift Lead/ Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and a friendly demeanor. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes and standards
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner
- Upsell products and promote specials to customers
- Follow food safety procedures when handling and serving food items
Requirements
- Experience in a café or coffee shop is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of retail math and POS systems
- Strong math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change
- Familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely in compliance with health regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn about different coffee varieties and brewing methods
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.45 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
