Description:
Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including primary care, specialty clinics, or urgent care. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and promote overall health and wellness.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans for patients.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and managing chronic conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and remain informed of the latest advancements in evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona or California
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
BLS/ACLS certification (as required by specialty or employer).
