Position Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing the technician team, ensuring top-quality customer service, and driving efficiency and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of service technicians to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Schedule, dispatch, and monitor service calls to maximize efficiency and responsiveness.
- Maintain strong communication with technicians and customers, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Train and mentor technicians to improve skills, customer service, and job efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stocking of parts and tools.
- Schedule and conduct regular van inspections and see that maintenance is being completed.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve operations.
- Work closely with ownership/management to develop and implement strategies for growth and service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plumbing service management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
