Job Description :
As a Material Handler 2, you will play a crucial role in our Plant operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve the efficient movement, organization, and storage of materials within our facility, utilizing both motorized and non-motorized equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Material Movement : Move materials between production and storage areas using motorized vehicles (forklifts) and smaller motorized equipment.
- Inventory Management : Inspect materials for defects, quantity, and quality.
- Stock Location and Movement : Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Equipment Maintenance : Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance to ensure safety.
- Packaging and Shipping : Package, label, and process shipments, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention.
- Receiving and Shipping : Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving, verifying accuracy and identifying defects.
- Equipment Usage : Utilize hand tools and equipment to prepare materials for shipping, storage, and receiving.
