Responsibilities
- Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent service and adherence to company standards.
- Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Develop innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food and beverage pairings.
- Create budgets and manage expenses to maximize profitability.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate menu offerings and special events.
Experience
- Proven experience in bar management or a similar role within casual or fine dining establishments.
- Strong background in food service management, including kitchen management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with budgeting, shift management, cash handling, and POS systems.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Knowledge of beverage trends, cocktail preparation, and wine pairings is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in fine dining and late night but not required.
