Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system; process payments efficiently.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- 2 year previous experience in bartending in full service restaurant.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol service regulations.
- A valid food handling certification may be required based on local regulations.
