Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed during preparation and service.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Address guest inquiries and provide assistance to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Experience with Toast POS system is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
