Fabricator - Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining press machines to shape and form materials. Using a fork lift as a Material Handler to move product around.
Job Duties:
- Understanding how to set up, operate and maintain press machines, including knowledge of machine controls and settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints to understand job specifications
- Ensure that all parts are fabricated to exact specifications with a keen eye for detail to avoid errors
- Conduct inspections or quality checks to ensure finished products meets expected standards
- Effectively loading and unloading materials as a Material Handler, ensuring they are property positioned and secure
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Identifying and resolving issues with press machines and fabrication process
- Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues.
- Using mathematics for precise measurements and calculations during the fab process
- Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth work flow process and address any issues.
- Attention to detail
- Experience in driving a Fork Lift
- Able to meet rate specifications
- $20.50 per hour (hourly wage quoted includes an attendance bonus of $3.00)
