Job Description: Machinist
Bilco is currently looking for a CNC operator that is experienced in Siemens CCC controller. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter that can operate the CNC mill with minimal training and be able to write programs of spec drawings. This job has the potential for advancement and career growth.
Must have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ verified experience programming and operating a CNC mill, featuring Siemens CNC controller (Fryer Mill is a plus)
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Machines parts according to specifications within specified tolerances.
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to the job performed before and after.
- Be able to communicate properly all work performed.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Must have own tools.
- (A Plus) if you can weld, (stick, mig, tig, and or plasma)
- Able to operate a manual lathe. (a plus if you can operate a Jet Lathe)
- (A Plus) if you can drive a forklift properly and safely.
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual/responsible on attendance.
Work Experience:
The ideal candidate will have worked in a heavy machining environment and is proficient on the setup of CNC Mills. The ability to use everyday tools common to machining trade is a must as well as the ability to use mathematics on delicate parts.
Compensation and hours to work:
- $25-$30 (based on experience and proven work abilities)
- 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday,
- Must be able to work Saturdays (as needed)
- Overtime applied over when working beyond 40 hours weekly.
