Perform duties to measure, cut and shear materials for welding and assembly by others.

Essential Duties & Responsbilities
- Read and interpret drawings and shear list to determine kind of material needed and the proper dimensions necessary. Move material weighing approximately 35# 20 feet onto the machine which is 3 feet high.
- Using proper methods, form, punch, cope or saw material as necessary.
- Operate crane, saw. Use measuring tape, square. Work as a team with another operator.
- Comply with all the Safety requirements established for the assigned area
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Knowledge in use of fixed gauges, direct reading instruments and similar devices
- Use of reading and writing. Knowledge of basic math.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Be knowledgeable about and comply with all ISO 9001 standards applying to position.
Qualifications / Prior Experience
- Over 3 months up to and including 12 months of experience.
Work Environment / Other Requirements
- Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
- Meet all quality control standards.
- Meet productivity standards set up for the position.
- Meet attendance and punctuality requirements.
- Properly maintain all assigned equipment.
- Keep work areas are clean and maintain 5 S standards.
- Ability to safely move around the shop floor.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
