Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life through effective behavioral therapy techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to promote positive behavioral health outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral therapy.
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with medical records management and documentation practices.
- Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Ability to develop and implement care plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with children or individuals with special education needs is highly desirable.
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and practices related to developmental disabilities.
