About the Role:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a school district in Bronx, NY. This role focuses on providing health services and support to students, ensuring their well-being in the school environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily healthcare support to students, including administering medication and first aid.
- Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies) and ensure proper medical management.
- Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate care protocols.
- Maintain health records and documentation in compliance with state and district policies.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New York State.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative school team.
