We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to conduct a speech evaluation for a young kindergarten student in Monroe, Connecticut. This is a short-term evaluation assignment to assess articulation concerns, with the potential to work on more evaluations in the future. If youre a passionate professional fluent in Russian, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a speech evaluation to assess articulation issues for a 5-year-old kindergarten student.
- Communicate effectively with the student in Russian, as they do not respond well in English.
- Provide a written report in English summarizing the evaluation results.
- Collaborate with the evaluation team to understand the students speech patterns.
- The evaluation will take approximately 1 hour, and no follow-up meetings are required at this time.
Qualifications:
- License: Must hold a valid Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both Russian and English.
- Experience: Experience working with young children, particularly those with articulation concerns.
Position Details:
- Classroom: Kindergarten student.
- Hours per Week: Evaluation duration 1 hour for the assessment.
- Weekly Pay: Competitive hourly rate.

- Contract Duration: Short-term evaluation; anticipated evaluation duration: 1 hour, with follow-up reevaluation planned for January 27th.
