School Social Worker
Location: Romulus, MI
We are looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Romulus, MI. This role focuses on providing support to middle and high school students, helping them overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that impact their learning. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies, offer counseling services, and connect students with the resources they need to thrive.
Position Details:- Start Date: ASAP June 6, 2025
- Hours: Full-time (Part-time candidates will be considered)
- Caseload: Middle and high school students
- Setting: Onsite, school-based
- Requirements: Must have 310 certification and be licensed as a School Social Worker in Michigan
- Provide direct counseling and support to students struggling with social or emotional challenges
- Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with school staff and families
- Conduct assessments to identify students needs and recommend appropriate services
- Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
