We are looking for passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Romulus, Michigan ! With two openings available, you will work with high school students (9th / 10th grades and 11th / 12th grades) in Work / Life Skills classes . This is a full-time, onsite position with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
Responsibilities :
- Provide specialized instruction to students with cognitive impairments (CI) in 9th-12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students in developing work and life skills to prepare for independence.
- Collaborate with staff, families, and administration to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
