Occupational Therapist (OT) Ellicott City, Maryland
Location: Various Elementary & Middle Schools in Howard County

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Ellicott City, Maryland. This role will support regional programs for children with significant autism, very low cognition, and/or behavior challenges. If youre passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to students with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
• Create and modify activities to help children develop motor skills, sensory processing, and behavior management.
• Support students in inclusive and specialized settings.
• Assess and monitor student progress.

Qualifications:

• Required: Maryland Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience working with children with autism, cognitive disabilities, and behavior challenges.
• Experience in pediatric therapy and school settings is preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Multiple Elementary and Middle Schools in Howard County, Maryland.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Onsite Only: In-person services at assigned schools.

Weekly Pay:

• Competitive, based on experience.

Contract Duration:

• Current school year with an option to extend for the 2024-2025 school year.
