Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher in Melrose Park, IL, to work in self-contained classrooms with Kindergarten and 2nd-grade students. This position provides an opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with the help of paraprofessionals to ensure each student's success.
Caseload Details:
- Structured Classroom: Kindergarten, 10 students with ASD.
- Instructional Classroom: Kindergarten & 2nd grade, 8 students.
- Both classrooms will have 2 paraprofessionals for additional support.
Requirements:
- Active Illinois Special Education (SPED) License.
- Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience in self-contained classrooms is preferred.
