About the Role :
Are you passionate about making a lasting impact on students with diverse learning needs? We are seeking a committed Special Education Teacher to join our team in Merville, IN. This position provides the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, offering push-in and pull-out support to around 16 students. While the specific grade levels are still being determined, youll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on student growth and learning.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Provide push-in and pull-out support to students as needed.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
Participate in team meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Indiana.
Experience with push-in and pull-out support models preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team to support student success.
