The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. All applicants must pass pre-employment testing that includes a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the sales manager and in accordance with the dealership display standards.
- Drives vehicles to and from the Service department, detail area, and parking lot as needed.
- Cleans driveways and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
- Makes key tags for vehicles.
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
- Follows all safety and security procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Able to work weekends.
- Able to pass pre-employment testing as required.
