Sales Assistant Responsibilities
- Position works primarily at the sales counter
- Assist manager in his/her responsibilities
- Sell tires and services
- Communicate information about our products and services to customers
- Handle customer issues
- Contact and meet with current and new customers to generate business
- Interact frequently with employees in shop
- Tire or auto sales experience required
- Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs
- Complete paperwork in an organized and timely manner
- Work in a partially open air facility
- Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs
Required Skills
. Previous automotive sales experience
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
. Computer and math skills
. Valid Texas Driver’s License
All store employees are trained in the basics of our business and will be expected to understand and be able to perform the duties of our Tire Technician including the following:
- Rotation, mounting and balancing of tires
- Flat repair
- Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
- Assist with inventory of parts or tires as needed
- Use and maintain equipment and tools in good working order
- Work in a partially open air facility (service bays)
- Keep work area neat as requested by manager
- Assist in unloading parts or tire shipments as needed
