Responsibilities:
- Assist all customers (retail and shop technicians) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Answered phone calls, and provided price quotes and other information.
- Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock or shop materials needing immediate attention.
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
- Keep orderly records of all repair orders, purchase orders, and special order parts.
- Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with auto parts sales preferred
- People-focused and strives to provide great customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Proficient computer skills preferred
- Valid and current driver’s license with ability to maintain a good driving record
