Responsibilities :

Install and repair drainage systems, including sewer lines, stormwater systems, and wastewater pipes.

Assess properties to design and implement effective drainage solutions.

Perform pipe excavation, layout, and installation using industry-standard tools and techniques.

Inspect existing drainage systems to diagnose issues such as clogs, leaks, or damage.

Collaborate with other technicians and plumbers on larger projects.

Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all installations and repairs.

Operate and maintain equipment such as drain cameras, hydro jetters, and trenching tools.

Provide excellent customer service by explaining work processes and addressing client concerns.

Document work performed, including materials used and project timelines.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites and in company vehicles.

Keep accurate records within Service Titan

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of two years in drain installation

Knowledge : Strong understanding of drainage systems, pipe materials, and installation techniques.

Skills : Proficient in using hand and power tools; ability to operate specialized equipment (e.g., drain cameras).

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.

Driver's License : Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to lift, push, pull, and / or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb / descend stairs.

Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).

Environmental Conditions :

Drain Installers travel to a variety of worksites every day in a company vehicle.

May work in varying temperatures; inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. May work in areas with exposure to moderate / high noise levels.

May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust.

May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights.
